Mila Zegna Baruffa was born and raised in Biella, the flagship of the Italian textile industry.

She is the daughter of Giulio Zegna Baruffa and worked for 10 years as creative director in the family business.

It was a special experience where she was able to develop what today constitutes her wealth of knowledge and become a modern woman in whom modernity is combined with curiosity, a great passion for life and good taste.

In 2006, she left Biella to start a new adventure, again in the textile sector, but this time in the silk sector, from the beginning to the end of the supply chain and up to the finished product. She became the CEO of Isa Spa, a company renowned for its mastery of silk printing and the production of beachwear, lingerie and leisurewear, entirely made in Italy, for an exclusive luxury service. Because that is her DNA.

It is the strong desire to share with people like her her creations, which stand out for their high quality, attention to detail, search for materials and unique execution, that gives birth to the Mila Zegna Baruffa collections.

In her home in Como, surrounded by an 18th-century park, in the company of her dogs Beauty and Biscotto, she loves to walk and chat with Elisa, planning the future, telling and romanticizing the past and fantasizing about new adventures.

Mila loves challenges, which is why in 2017 she became the creative director of the Simonetta brand, a historic Italian manufacturer of children's clothing. Mila's roots are the foundation, they led her to found Mila ZB in 2014.
